DJ Dubb Sixx is a powerhouse behind the turntables, originally hailing from Jackson, Tennessee. His DJ journey kicked off in 1988 and hasn’t slowed down since. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Dubb Sixx served 21 years with distinction—bringing the party to bases in Germany, Korea, and across the U.S. in states like Colorado, Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Louisiana, and Washington.

During his time in Killeen, Texas, Dubb Sixx lit up the airwaves with the 5 O’Clock Traffic Jam (Monday through Friday) and the Sixx Mixx every Saturday on KIIZ 92.3—becoming a daily destination for hip-hop heads and music lovers alike.

Today, his sound stretches across the nation as he spins on Classic Fleet Radio, 94.5 The Blaze, K102, Gynesis Radio, Funkfellas Radio, Bounceout Radio, Gumbeaux Radio, The Vibe Radio, and Rebel 107.9. He’s also the producer and manager of the hit show “Da Lounge with Kim da SSB.”

A true student of the craft, DJ Dubb Sixx owns a massive vinyl collection of over 10,000 records, collected throughout his years as a mobile DJ and radio mix show coordinator.

In February 2023, he stepped into leadership as Tennessee State Manager and quickly rose to become Assistant Manager for the South Region—a testament to his passion, hustle, and deep industry respect.

Now based in Clarksville, TN, DJ Dubb Sixx is retired from the Army but still working hard—serving his community as a wastewater treatment plant chief operator by day, and turning up the vibes on air by night.
